Cuando Joan Osborne grabó este tema, posiblemente no pensó que fuese a tener el éxito que le trajo. Una poesía inédita sobre la posibilidad de que Dios fuese uno de nosotros. Simplemente una persona más, pero que a la hora de tomar el colectivo para volver a su casa, va hacia el cielo. Obviamente, ésto le supuso más de una polémica con los grupos cristianos ortodoxos. No tengo mucho más que agregar. El tema habla por sí mismo.
